  7. You live in a lovely place. It's interesting: that photo could have been taken here in New England--not really where I love, which is suburband and built up, but within an hour's drive.

  9. @ Steven: I live in the southern part of Germany (Bavaria), not far from the mountains, half way between Munich and Garmisch, our little town has ca. 16.000 inhabitants, til 50 years ago there was coal production (ended in 1966).

  11. So beautiful and peaceful looking and great composition.My paternal great-grandparents were from Munchweiler and her family had a farm there which I understand is still there. I wonder if the countryside looks similar there.
