Very nice, what was your exposure? It looks perfect, at first I was reminded of a cartoon, where the bird tried to land and wnet head over heels. Great job.
Addition of the shadow is a nice touch. Somehow, though, in the lower photo, the bird looks like he's about to crash land. Must be the tire tracks drawing my eye right up into his beak.
Is that a stork?? I think that bird thinks the tire tracks are a landing strip and is heading straight for it! If the bird is a stork, his beak is in perfect position to photoshop carrying a baby!
