@ danudin: yes, I think Mercury and Hermes mean the same.
@ jackscrap: I for my person like the art of Lüpertz, but he is controversial, my brother for example doesn't like it by no means. In a city ca. 100 km from here should have been installed a statue of Lüpertz, but there was no way doing it, people refused this kind of art. I posted another piece of the artist: Apollo
I can see Hermes Hat but the silhouette, needs no other illucidation.
ReplyDeleteTony, this looks like a very interesting piece of art, does the artist have any others on display near you?

I don't know anything about the artist. Am going to have to look him up to find out why he's so controversial.
ReplyDeleteI love this! We do not have art like this where I live.
ReplyDeleteWhat a very cool sculpture...and I love the lighting you took this in! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteSeems magical, especially with the brightness in the clouds.
ReplyDeleteI like it as well, and the effects you captured.
ReplyDeleteI like the sun flare...it adds to the effect of the photo.
ReplyDeleteThe composition is great - the light and dark.
ReplyDeleteIt does have a magical feel. I am loving seeing your part of the world.
ReplyDeleteLove the flare and how you captured the light!
