Unusual chimney style - at least from my limited experience. Thanks for sharing! (I was beginning to think storks were mythical creatures. Never saw a real one before.)
Here's what's wonderful to me about this picture: I saw things in it step by step. First I saw the interesting perspective of an old church steeple behind a slanting roof. Then I looked at the structure next to it that seemed to be sporting a bundle of sticks. I remembered reading about storks' nest in Europe and wondered if it could be one of them; so I enlarged the photos--and only then saw the stork! It was like opening one of those gifts where ever smaller boxes are nested inside each other until you get to the prize.
Great for Santa Claus!
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective, love how the diagonal line takes us down to the steeple, etc
ReplyDeleteLike Tammy, I like the diagonal line and perspective of this photo
ReplyDeleteLarge bird and nest. Is it an osprey?
ReplyDelete@ Lois: No, it's not an osprey, it's a stork.
ReplyDeleteThere's the stork!!Wonder how many babies he brought today?
ReplyDeleteVery nice composition. I had to look twice and then I saw the stork.

ReplyDeleteI like how the owners of the chimney have erected the frame so that the stork can still have it's nest there.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the different things to see in this image, but I expecially love that stork's nest.
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective Tony! The steeple looks like it is in a dream sequence, Love it!!
